The mission of the Career and Technical Education department at Waco ISD is to provide the opportunity for all students to prepare for entry-level employment and/or continuing at the post secondary level with employment as a future goal. The educational experience should apply high academic standards to a variety of community and career situations. Career and technology education experiences allow students to make educational and career decisions that are based on personal assessments, aptitudes and interests.
