dj_mvp Waco High School product Derrick Johnson, now a linebacker for the Kansas City Chiefs, was named Defensive Most Valuable Player after helping lead his team of superstars to a victory in the 2014 NFL Pro Bowl. The game on Sunday, January 26, saw Team Jerry Rice defeat Team Deion Sanders 22-21. It was DJ's third Pro Bowl appearance.

Playing for Team Rice, Johnson was an unstoppable force recording nine solo tackles and forcing a fumble. Johnson also smacked Chiefs teammate Jamaal Charles during the first quarter.
