ATLAS Academy students Paige DuPuy, Neal DuPuy and Brigitte Eichenberg are three of 45 advancing to Texas History Day.

Waco ISD will have 45 middle and high school students competing at Texas History Day after two outstanding days of competition at the Heart of Texas Regional History Fair held February 19-20 at Baylor University. Students qualify for state competition by finishing first or second in their respective categories.

University High, Waco High, ATLAS Academy, Cesar Chavez Middle, Indian Spring Middle, and Lake Air Montessori sent competitors to the regional event. Additionally, fifth-grade students from Hillcrest PDS and Lake Air Montessori had products on display as Waco ISD continues to grow numerous young historians.
