Family Fest is August 12th!

Family FestWaco ISD Family Fest

On Saturday, August 12, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Waco ISD will host the 6th Annual Waco ISD Family Fest at two sites: Waco High School and University High School.

2017-2018 Registration

Family Fest is your last chance to get registered for the 2017-2018 school year. Regular registration starts July 24th.

This year, if you registered for WACO ISD before Family Fest, or if you register at Family Fest, you will be presented with a voucher for one FREE backpack

When a parent registers their children at Family Fest, they can then take their proof of enrollment to the booth/table of the school in which the child is enrolled and get the voucher for the backpack. (after visiting with the staff, of course!)

For students who have been registered prior to Family Fest, we will provide those enrollment lists to the campus personnel so that they can give those parents backpack vouchers at Family Fest, also.

All vouchers will have to be redeemed for backpacks at Family Fest. It is therefore imperative that you attend the Family Fest venue for your school.

  • Trojan Feeder students must attend the UHS Fest.
  • Lion Feeder students must attend the WHS Fest.

As with the previous Family Fest events, the goals for this back to school event focus on:

  • Building relationships with our families and boosting parent involvement,
  • Providing information and education on school and community resources,
  • Offering health screenings and immunizations,
  • Engaging families in fun learning activities, and
  • Getting everyone ready for a new school year.

What is Family Fest?

Family Fest is a back-to-school event held exclusively for Waco ISD students and parents at two locations:
University High School &
Waco High School.

Family Fest is a great chance for students and parents to get the new school year off to a great start. Learn more about your child's school and the Waco ISD departments that support the educational process.

We’ll also have vision and dental screenings, blood pressure and cholesterol checks, and an immunization clinic! Bring an insurance card and driver license if your child needs shots.

Plus, enjoy games, entertainment and lots of give-away's.
