Help TSPRA celebrate the history of Texas public education through the 2016 Celebrate Texas Public Schools (CTPS) Video Contest! Students and campuses from across the state can earn the chance to win $1,250 for their school by making a one-minute video explaining the history of their school. The deadline for district-level entries to be submitted to TSPRA is Jan. 15, 2016.

The contest will feature four different categories (elementary, middle, high and foreign language). The statewide winner in each category will win $1,250, thanks to a generous contribution from our friends at Randolph Brooks Federal Credit Union.

NOTE: TSPRA accepts one video per category per school district. Campuses should submit videos to a designated district staff member (or committee), who will be responsible for selecting a district-level winner in each category to submit to the statewide contest.

Thank you!

Your CTPS Committee

We at the Waco ISD Communications Department invite all our campuses to submit a video for the CTPS Contest. In the past we have had some amazing work come from our campus kids and can't wait to see what you come up with this year. Click the link above for all the details and Good Luck!

To be eligble for submission to TSPRA, you must submit your video to info@wacoisd.org before the Christmas break. This gives us time to pick one Waco ISD winner per category and post the winning videos to our district youTube channel dedicated to this event. It also gives us time to review the videos, ensure they meet the contest rules and specifications, and gives you time to make any needed corrections.

If you have any questions please contact us at the Communications Department.
