As all of us prepare to enjoy a well-deserved holiday, I want to thank you for the support and guidance you give to one another and to our students.  As Thanksgiving's true meaning can easily get lost in a break from everyday activities, let us be mindful that we have much for which to be thankful - family, health, a supportive community, and freedom.

I am thankful to those working directly with students  for the commitments made to ensure all children learn.  Our teachers provide quality instruction and role modeling for our students.  These qualities are critical components for our school district's overall success.

I am equally thankful to those who do not work directly with students.  Because of your work and support, those working directly with students can give their full attention to students because all other matters are being handled for them.

Have a great holiday!
