How to Weld a Pumpkin: Cinderella's Carriage Crew

We all know the tale, how Cinderella's Fairy Godmother grabbed a pumpkin, a couple of mice and probably a wand or dust or something, and whipped up a few essentials for the Royal Ball. But the University High Fine Arts department had to rely on just real world know-how to get their stage carriage to become a reality. It had to not only look good, but had to support a rider and the stresses of rolling on stage while occupied.

Enter, backstage right: The Students of the Greater Waco Advanced Manufacturing Academy!

UHS Fine Arts approached GWAMA with the idea of creating the frame of Cinderella's Carriage to the Ball. Always ready for a challenge they accepted and stepped up to the task.

We'd like to recognize these creative students by sharing their names and a few photos of the construction and transportation process. We hope you enjoy. Thanks GWAMA!
