Shari Wilde, School Nurse at Bell's Hill Elementary shows us all the fun involved with the annual Health Fair. Nurse Wilde reminds us that there's also a wealth of information about services and health care resources parents may not be aware of.

Local area businesses and health organizations showcase their services to attendees of the Health Fair. Sandy Wachsmann of the Waco ISD Police Department shared safety information with parents and had stickers for the kiddos.

BHE Principal Bevil Cohn spoke with nursing students from GWAHCA, the Greater Waco Health Care Academy. They shared their experience in the program.

Louise Powell, former WISD Principal and now with the Lions Club offered free eye screenings for Health Fair attendees. Her team used a computerized camera that reveals many conditions such as astigmatism, near or far sightedness and others. Good vision is key to a successful education. READ READ READ!

Turnout was great, and there were over 20 vendors with helpful information and giveaways. Thanks to Nurse Wilde for making things happen. BHE Health Fair 2017 was a great success.
