Captain Joseph Bell. Does that name ring a bell? It should!
Bell's Hill Elementary takes its name from Capt. Joseph Daniel Bell. Captain Bell drilled all over Waco in the late 1800s after he discovered the source of 103-degree artesian water beneath the city. He also went "out West" during the gold rush in California. His entrepreneurial zeal helped him become a successful banker and civic leader. He led an interesting life to say the least.
The school was named after him in 1906. One hundred and eleven years later, we present this musical performance in his honor. Join us as we rediscover Captain Joseph Bell.
