Waco History on the Book Shelves
The Waco History Project, a group dedicated to preserving Waco's rich history and sharing it with future generations, has come up with a great way to fulfill its mission. Libraries throughout Waco ISD will soon contain published works on Waco history making it possible for students to learn more about the community in which they live. The first donation of books valued at $250 is at University Middle School and was made possible by the Lake Brazos Rotary Club.   read more
